Klayton's Story
Klayton Weingart was born in Streetsboro Ohio and his family have lived in the area for over 100 years. He started his own landscaping business in 2010 and quickly grew the company.
Klayton went to Cuyahoga Community College and studied to be an electrical technician. After working in a couple different trades he took a job in sales at Meredith Home Improvements in 2021. Shortly after he was promoted to a management and training position at Uglyroof.
Klayton is now our Director of Operations, working with our sales trainers and has continued to work with contractors to perfect the process. His input has also been instrumental in improving various aspects of Uglyroof’s offerings as well as strategic growth strategies.
His work ethic coupled with a humble curiosity drives him to help others and learn everyday. The support of his lovely wife and caring family allows him to continue to grow and support Uglyroof’s growing nationwide network of dealers.

Kevin's Story
Kevin Gillis is a seasoned sales leader based in Pittsburgh, PA, bringing nearly two decades of experience in sales leadership, training, and enablement across multiple industries.
Kevin has served as a Sales Enablement Manager at Verizon, where he designed sales enablement tools, job aids, scripting, and training programs used by over 1,100 sales associates, sales leaders, and vendor partners. His ability to build scalable systems that actually get used has made a measurable impact on performance and consistency.
Most recently, Kevin held the role of Sales and Training Director at MHI Roofing, where he helped drive an 86% increase in revenue over a three-year period while maintaining an industry-leading 50% close rate. His approach blends structured sales processes with real-world coaching that empowers teams to perform at a high level.
Outside of work, Kevin is a proud Pittsburgh local who enjoys a good IPA and watching Steelers football—often at the same time. His passion for teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement carries from the field to the sales floor.
